Job Type: Full Time
We are looking for a Financial Engineer to join the team that builds and maintains the volatility models and exotic prices used by our clients, including front-office trading desks that rely on our solution to risk-manage their exotics books every day.

You will work on two core areas: fitting implied volatility smiles across Equity and FX and improving the accuracy and stability of our equity and FX exotics prices and their risks. You will also apply modern AI and machine learning techniques to speed up risk computation.

Your work will directly affect the prices, Greeks and risk numbers that traders and risk managers act on, so precision, robustness and clear communication matter as much as technical depth.

Responsibilities
Volatility Modelling and Smile Calibration
Build, improve and maintain analytical and semi-analytical models to fit option smile and surface data across Equity and FX.
Ensure calibrated surfaces are arbitrage-free, stable over time and robust to noisy or sparse market data.
Handle asset-class specifics: dividends and borrow for equity, delta and quote conventions for FX.
Exotics Pricing and Risk
Enhance pricing models and numerical methods (Monte Carlo, PDE, semi-analytical) for equity and FX exotics such as barriers, autocallables, cliques, basket and worst-of products.
Improve the accuracy and stability of prices and sensitivities, including smooth Greeks, convergence, handling of discontinuities and consistency between pricing and risk.
Investigate and resolve pricing and risk issues raised by traders, risk managers and clients, and explain model behavior in practical terms.
Contribute to model validation, back-testing and benchmarking.
Next-Generation Risk Analytics
Leverage advanced AI techniques (e.g. neural-network prices and calibrators, surrogate models, algorithmic differentiation, Chebyshev or regression-based approximations) to significantly accelerate Value-at-Risk (VaR) and XVA computations.
Assess the accuracy, stability and limitations of accelerated methods against reference prices, in particular for risk and hedging use.
AI-Accelerated Development
Use AI coding tools to speed up the development, testing, refactoring and documentation of pricing and calibration code, and share effective practices with the team.
Validate AI-generated code rigorously (unit tests, convergence checks, comparison against reference implementations, code review), so that faster delivery does not compromise numerical accuracy or model governance.
Research and Documentation
Produce rigorous analysis and comprehensive documentation of model methodologies, architectures and research findings to support transparency, model governance and knowledge transfer across the organization.
Large-Scale Data Analysis
Extract insights from complex, high-volume market and risk datasets to inform model development, diagnose model behavior and shape business strategy.
Model Interpretation and Client Guidance
Provide clear explanations of model behavior (including AI-based models), conduct scenario analysis and deliver actionable analytics to stakeholders such as front-office traders, risk managers, sales and technology teams.
דרישות:
Knowledge and Experience
Proven experience as a quant in derivatives pricing or modelling at a bank, hedge fund, vendor or consultancy.
Strong knowledge of option pricing theory, stochastic calculus and volatility modelling (local vol, stochastic vol, local-stochastic vol, smile dynamics).
Hands-on experience calibrating volatility surfaces and building or validating exotic option pricers in equity and/or FX.
Solid grasp of numerical methods: Monte Carlo, finite-difference/PDE, optimisation and interpolation.
Strong programming skills in Python and C++ (or a comparable compiled language), with good software engineering practices (testing, version control, code review).
Proficiency with AI coding assistants and agentic tools (e.g. Claude, Codex, Copilot המשרה מיועדת לנשים ולגברים כאחד.

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo
Job Type: Full Time
We're looking for a Senior Car Insurance Pricing Expert to help shape how we price risk across our global business, from our Tel Aviv office.
This isn't a traditional actuarial role. You'll sit at the intersection of Insurance, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Business Strategy on our Insurance team, owning hard pricing and risk-management problems end to end. That means finding opportunities, designing better approaches, building scalable tools with technical teams, and turning insights into decisions that move growth, profitability, and risk selection forward.
You might be a trained actuary, a pricing leader, a decision scientist, or a technically strong insurance operator who's built serious pricing capabilities. Formal credentials are a plus, but they're not the point. The point is whether you can use data, insurance intuition, statistical rigor, and AI-enabled tools to solve complex pricing problems better and faster than the industry standard.
We believe three things matter for every role: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.
Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.
In this role you'll:
Own and evolve core components of our Car pricing strategy, bringing analytical rigor and product-minded creativity to how we price risk
Identify high-leverage opportunities across rating, underwriting, segmentation, risk selection, growth, profitability, and portfolio management
Build, evaluate, and improve Car pricing and risk models using actuarial methods, machine learning, AI-enabled workflows, and strong business judgment
Partner with Data Science, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Growth to turn pricing ideas into scalable capabilities
Translate complex pricing problems into clear product and platform requirements, helping teams build internal tools that make better decisions faster
Define and track key metrics - loss ratio, rate adequacy, conversion, retention, segmentation lift, and model performance - to keep decisions grounded in real impact
Make complex actuarial and pricing concepts clear and actionable for technical and non-technical audiences alike, and help build pricing acumen across the Tel Aviv team
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in Car insurance pricing, actuarial science, decision science, risk analytics, or a closely related field
A proven track record solving complex pricing, underwriting, segmentation, or risk-management problems with measurable business impact
Strong analytical instincts - knowing how to find signal in data, make decisions under uncertainty, and separate elegant analysis from useful analysis
Hands-on fluency with modern analytical tools, agentic AI capabilities, and code - including experience using generative AI, coding agents, or advanced automation to materially improve analytical workflows
Solid understanding of Car insurance pricing fundamentals, including rating plans, loss costs, rate adequacy, segmentation, model validation, telematics and financial performance.
Familiarity with predictive modeling methods such as GLMs, gradient boosting, random forests, clustering, and feature engineering
Experience building or modernizing pricing platforms, rating engines, underwriting tools, or internal decision-support software
Product-minded problem solving: the ability to turn a messy workflow, technical constraint, or business problem into a clear, prioritized path forward - with a track record of partnering with Product and Engineering teams to ship production-grade tools
Strong communication skills - you can explain pricing decisions, tradeoffs, and model outputs clearly
This position is open to all candidates.
