We are looking for a hands-on Software Team Lead to shape a new technology product that will form our next-generation platform for the semiconductor industry. This is an opportunity to define the architecture, stay close to the code and lead a motivated team of three developers and one quality assurance (QA) engineer. Combining advanced software, hardware integration and creative problem-solving, you will turn complex challenges into reliable C#/.NET solutions, drive rapid delivery and champion GitHub Copilot, reusable skills and dedicated agents.
Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
Lead architecture, planning and delivery of a new technology product and our next-generation platform.
Develop core C#/.NET components and guide integration with hardware interfaces and data-processing services.
Mentor three developers and a QA engineer; lead design reviews, code reviews and practical GitHub Copilot adoption.
Build a positive, supportive team culture; lead with empathy and enthusiasm, motivate people, remove blockers and help the team deliver on commitments.
Work with product, algorithm, hardware and QA teams to turn requirements into working software.
Own software quality, automated testing, performance and reliable software deployments.
Requirements: 4+ years of hands-on software design and development experience.
Expert-level C#/.NET, with strong software architecture, concurrency and debugging skills.
Proven hands-on technical leadership, mentoring and end-to-end project delivery.
Strong practical GitHub Copilot skills for implementation, refactoring, testing and debugging, including creating reusable skills (SKILL.md), context engineering and dedicated agents; independently review and validate generated code.
Hands-on Docker experience, including deployment and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of Python for automation, tooling and integration.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated tests and service/API integration.
Strong knowledge of hardware interfaces and hands-on experience integrating software with hardware, including device communication and troubleshooting hardware-software interactions.
Advantages:
Semiconductor or other multidisciplinary systems; image-processing integration; gRPC and SQL databases. Experience building in-house AI/LLM infrastructure, including model hosting, integration and evaluation.
That special something you bring in:
Empathetic, enthusiastic and supportive leadership that motivates people and helps the team deliver.
Clear communication, strong ownership and collaboration across disciplines.
This position is open to all candidates.
