We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Production Manager
to oversee and elevate our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be directly responsible for leading two critical operational pillars: Ink Production and Printhead Production Labs.
Your primary mission is to direct day-to-day shop floor activities and maximize manufacturing efficiency within each independent production line. You will bridge the gap between strategic planning and hands-on execution, ensuring that both ink and printhead manufacturing outputs meet their own quality, timeline, and volume targets
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Operations
: Oversee the routine, ongoing production activities for both the Ink and Printhead manufacturing departments, validating delivery timelines by setting flexible production plan and proactively collaborating with multiple interfaces (Warehouse, Planning and Quality)
Team Leadership & Structure
: Manage, mentor, and guide both the team leaders and production team for production excellence and efficiency by fostering a culture of accountability and high performance
Work Plan Execution
: Build and run weekly work plans based on the main ink plant schedule to match production capacity with the planning demands
Capacity & Schedule Management:
Maintain full accountability for meeting target production capacities and ensuring operational timelines and delivery schedules are met
Employee Training & Qualification:
Manage employee onboarding, continuous skill matrix developments, and formal qualification processes to ensure a highly flexible and cross-trained team
Continuous Improvement & Efficiency:
Drive shop-floor efficiency by applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to identify bottlenecks, optimize manufacturing cycles, eliminate waste to ensure highly cost-effective operations
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with the Site Manager, Quality Assurance, Planning departments and Engineering to resolve operational stoppers and maintain full business continuity.
Requirements: Experience:
3-5+ years of experience as a Production Manager or Senior Production Supervisor within an industrial manufacturing ecosystem (experience in ink, chemical, cleanrooms, printhead manufacturing is a major advantage)
Leadership Skills:
Proven track record of managing team leaders or direct line managers; ability to lead, motivate, and develop technical manufacturing teams
Technical Skills:
Strong background in capacity planning, shop-floor scheduling, shift management, and tracking production KPIs (volume, yield, timeline management)
Education:
Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related operational field
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
