Required NPI Infrastructure Engineer
Description
The NPI Infrastructure Engineer will serve as the manufacturing interface to the Product Engineering team, leading the transition of manufacturing test stations from development into production.
This role is responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing test infrastructure is fully released, documented, procured, assembled, and deployed to support production activities at Quantum Machines and its Contract Manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Test Infrastructure:
Lead the transfer of manufacturing test stations from Product Engineering into production.
Ensure manufacturing readiness of new ATE platforms.
Review new station designs for manufacturability, scalability, and production readiness.
Support deployment and replication of test stations across manufacturing sites.
Product Industrialization:
Create and maintain manufacturing BOMs for test stations.
Release BOMs through Agile PLM.
Support ECO implementation.
Prepare manufacturing documentation and build packages.
Ensure complete production documentation prior to manufacturing release.
Manufacturing Readiness:
Coordinate procurement activities for new test stations.
Ensure material availability for production builds.
Support first station builds and manufacturing validation.
Coordinate deployment at Contract Manufacturing sites.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Contract Manufacturing partners.
Act as the primary manufacturing focal point for test infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a NPI Configuration Engineer to join our team. The NPI Configuration Engineer will be responsible for leading new product introduction projects and ensuring a successful transition from development to manufacturing.

Your Day to Day
Own all engineering documentation: drawings, BOMs, work instructions, PNs
Manage engineering change processes (ECOs, MCOs, product revisions) end-to-end
Maintain data integrity in PDM/PLM and ERP systems (Priority, SolidPDM- advantage)
Drive new product introduction (NPI) from design to small-scale and mass production (including DFM/DFA/DFT, vendor support, and configuration control)
Participate in design reviews and support risk mitigation during development
Identify opportunities and lead cost reduction initiatives

In this role, youll coordinate projects end-to-end, help keep initiatives moving efficiently from planning to launch, and take part in the hands-on configuration and management of production flows.
What you'll be doing:
Lead cross‐functional projects across Product, R\\&D, BI, Monetization, and Operations teams, while identifying risks and removing execution blockers.
Configure and manage production flows, including version rollouts, configuration changes, and a/b tests setup.
Oversee A/B tests and optimization initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and clear tracking of results.
Manage changing priorities and release schedules effectively in a dynamic environment while maintaining alignment across stakeholders.
Create visibility into project status, timelines, and key updates to support informed decision-making and effective communication.

As a Production Engineer , you will support day-to-day production, develop assembly processes, create work instructions, and design production jigs and fixtures.

You will work closely with Production, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve manufacturability, resolve production issues, and help ensure smooth, reliable manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

Provide ongoing technical support to production lines and assembly teams, including real-time troubleshooting on the floor.

Design, define, and build jigs and fixtures to improve assembly accuracy, quality, and throughput.

Develop and implement detailed work instructions, including diagrams, images, and step-by-step assembly sequences.

Perform root cause analysis for production and quality issues and lead corrective and preventive actions.

Drive continuous improvement of production processes, focusing on efficiency, cycle time, and ergonomics.

Train operators and assembly personnel on work processes, use of jigs, and new standards.

Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain to define and optimize production procedures.

Maintain and update relevant production documentation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced System Engineer to join our team and lead the development of sophisticated solutions that push the boundaries of flight

responsibilities:

Lead the development of innovative and complex airborne systems
Develop system requirements that meet customer requirements and product definitions provided by other departments
Facilitate PMO on developing integration plans identifying timelines, resources and equipment requirements to integrate engineering designs into higher level products
Define and lead system level test plans to validate that the engineering designs meet requirements
Collaborate with the R&D and Line of Business managers to ensure timely project delivery
Work as an integral part of the Engineering team in the development of new products and supporting existing products
Define and lead experiments, tests and studies, and/or analytical investigations and provide clear and meaningful results and analysis
Compile and assist in the presentation of test data collected during design validations to a peer group of engineers
Work in collaboration with a multi-disciplined engineering team to develop engineering designs/solutions from initial POC to onsite customer implementations
Contribute to documentation for use in the manufacture, installation, technical support and training related to the final design
Support engineering products through entire life cycle including; assist in installation at customer site, assist in product upgrades and improvements, support of service escalations and product EOL
Oversee technical management of sub-contractors
