Responsibilities
Lead operational planning and on‑site execution for complex field tests in Israel and abroad.
Translate engineering test plans into practical operational and logistical execution plans.
Conduct site surveys and ensure infrastructure, accessibility, and environmental readiness.
Manage field setup, equipment deployment, and logistical coordination (power, comms, security, access).
Managing a team and being responsible for the company's laboratories and logistical infrastructure.
Command real‑time field execution, including dry‑runs, deviation handling, and rapid problem‑solving.
Enforce safety protocols and manage emergency procedures.
Document lessons learned and feed operational insights into future planning cycles.
Support additional company experiments (communications, tunnel, vehicle‑based, navigation) and manage UAV operations.
Maintain unified operational standards, shared equipment repositories, and cross‑site continuity.
Serve as the operational/logistical focal point for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements: Experience in operational leadership within defense, aerospace, or field‑testing environments.
Experience in conducting tests at test ranges in Israel and participating in/conducting tests outside Israel.
Strong background in field operations and logistics, including contractor/vendor management.
Ability to convert engineering requirements into actionable operational plans.
Excellent real‑time decision‑making, improvisation, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Experience with site surveys, field setup, and infrastructure readiness.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with engineering teams and external partners.
Engineering academic degree and background in engineering disciplines.
Advantage: experience with UAV/drone operations or defense‑related testing.
