we are seeking an ATE TEST Development Engineer! The role includes development of Automated TEST Equipment (ATE) TEST stations, including digital tests and RF tests. The engineer will be responsible for TEST system development from the requirements definition stage through delivery of the TEST system to the customer and its maintenance. The role also includes technical characterization and definition of project documents such as SPEC, SOW, TRD. Education Required: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.

In this role, you will be responsible for integrating multiple technological systems, connecting hardware and software components, and managing communication between various systems in the defense array
The role requires a unique blend of expertise in wireless communication (RF), programming languages, field work, and project management
Work on connecting different technological systems, understand the overall system
Proficiency in RF communication principles, working with RF and C2 (command and control) equipment, and conducting lab and field tests
Proficiency in Linux environments and python scripting for automation, testing, and data management.

What you will be doing:

Own end to end RF system definition, from early requirements gathering through architecture, detailed specifications, and technical tradeoff analysis.
Lead RF technical strategy for current and future products, ensuring alignment with product, system, and business goals.
Drive proof of concept activities, feasibility studies, and risk reduction for new technologies and architectures.
Be deeply involved in detailed RF design, simulations, reviews, and hands-on technical decision making.
Be involved in prototyping, bring-up, DVT, regulatory and environmental qualifications, and design transfer to production.
Ensure high quality technical documentation across all phases of development, including specifications, design documents, test plans, and reports.

This role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining advanced automation solutions across unit, integration, system, and end-to-end testing levels.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong expertise in Python and Pytest, experienced in building and executing automated tests, and comfortable working with modern CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
