Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and support a team of DevOps Engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular 1:1s, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.
Coordinate workload distribution, sprint planning, and prioritization across the team in alignment with organizational goals.
Act as the primary point of escalation for technical challenges within the team.
Work closely with the DevOps Director to translate the DevOps roadmap into actionable team-level objectives.
Technical Execution
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes.
Lead automation initiatives to improve deployment reliability, system scalability, and developer productivity.
Ensure robust observability through Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK, and participate in incident management and on-call rotations as needed.
Champion infrastructure security best practices, including secrets management (Vault) and container security.
Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Product teams to streamline release processes and resolve deployment bottlenecks.
Process & Governance
Define and enforce DevOps best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines across the team.
Drive post-incident reviews and implement learnings to prevent recurrence.
Monitor infrastructure costs and propose optimization strategies to the DevOps Director.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager to lead and grow our DevOps function. This role combines people leadership, technical direction, and ownership of the infrastructure, tooling, automation, and operational practices that power Stamplis production environment.

You will manage DevOps Engineers, hire and onboard an additional team member, and drive the strategy, execution, and evolution of Stamplis internal DevOps platform. You will work closely with Engineering, Data, AI, Product, and Security teams to improve developer experience, enable fast and safe delivery, and keep production stable.

What You Will Do

Enable MLOps and data workflows using tools such as Airflow, MLflow, and Jupyter Notebooks.
Drive an automation-first mindset through Infrastructure-as-Code, scripting, internal tooling, and reusable components.
Lead cost optimization efforts with a FinOps mindset, including visibility, budgets, rightsizing, and workload efficiency.
Ensure security is embedded into DevOps practices, including least privilege, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, secure SDLC, and incident readiness.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and ChatGPT Enterprise to improve team productivity and delivery speed.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to unblock delivery, improve developer experience, and maintain production stability.

Required SRE / DevOps Lead
About the Role
As our SRE / DevOps Lead, you'll own the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure that powers our platform - a system trusted by leading wealth managers, banks, and consumer fintechs to handle some of the most sensitive financial data their users have. You'll lead a team of 2 SREs and partner closely with product engineering, security, and our compliance partners to make sure what we build runs the way our customers (and the IRS) expect.
This is a hands-on lead role. You'll set the technical direction for our cloud platform, deployment pipelines, observability, and on-call practices - and you'll write the code, configs, and runbooks that get us there. You'll also own our IT function (identity, endpoints, SaaS) at a tighter scope, keeping the company secure and productive as we grow.

What you will do:
Develop deep product knowledge across our platform - understanding its internals, failure modes, and operational behavior well enough to own incident resolution end-to-end.
Define and track SLAs/SLOs/SLIs across critical platform services, and use error budgets to drive engineering decisions.
Own production reliability - including on-call rotations, incident response, and post-mortems - with a focus on minimizing MTTR and preventing recurrence through systemic fixes, not just firefighting.
Work hand-in-hand with engineering teams across the stack - infrastructure, application, and business layers - to embed reliability requirements everywhere.
