Were looking for an experienced R&D Group Leader to lead the Remediation domain, owning the systems that actually fix risk at scale, from policy definition to automated execution across customer environments.

What Youll Do
Leadership & Ownership
Lead and grow a group of engineers responsible for Data Lifecycle Automation (DLA), policies framework, and remediation automations
Own delivery, quality, and operational excellence of production systems running at scale
Define technical direction aligned with product and business goals
Product & Impact
Drive development of customer-facing remediation capabilities (e.g., permissions cleanup, stale access removal, exposure reduction)
Partner closely with Product, Security, and Customer Success to maximize real-world risk reduction outcomes
Translate complex security problems into scalable, automated solutions
Architecture & Systems
Own the design of distributed, highly scalable microservices handling policy evaluation, recommendation generation, and action execution
Ensure high reliability for real-time / near-real-time remediation flows
Drive best practices across CI/CD, observability, testing, and system resiliency
Enhance the execution of dev velocity and efficiency of leveraging AI agents.
Execution & Scale
Manage full lifecycle: ideation → design → production → customer impact
Balance innovation with operational stability in a fast-moving SaaS environment
Lead cross-team initiatives across Platform, access, Privacy, and AI domains
People Leadership
Mentor managers and senior engineers
Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, quality, and impact
Recruit and develop top-tier talent.
Requirements: Leadership & Experience
5+ years in engineering leadership (Group lead/director roles)
Proven experience delivering large-scale SaaS systems to production
Strong track record working across teams (Product, Infra, CS)
Technical Skills
Deep experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
Experience building high-throughput, production-grade systems
Strong cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also relevant)
Experience with data-intensive systems / pipelines (advantage)
Domain Experience (Advantage)
Security / data governance / access management / compliance domains
Automation systems or workflow engines
Policy-based systems or rule engines
