We are seeking a seasoned Backend Tech Lead with a solid background in high-load environments and experience in managing multiple Linux servers. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, and technology-driven culture.

Responsibilities:
Own architecture for high-scale, user-facing backends and data pipelines.
Lead and mentor engineers; guide design reviews, roadmaps, and execution.
Operate production systems with clear SLOs/SLAs, on-call quality, and blameless postmortems.
Evolve our K8s/GPU platform, CI/CD, and observability to increase deployment velocity and resilience.
Integrate and serve ML models (PyTorch, CUDA/TensorRT, Triton) with a focus on throughput and cost.
Partner cross-functionally (ML, Product, Security, Finance) on priorities and cost/perf trade-offs.
Hire, level up the team, and uplevel engineering standards.

Job Type: Full Time.
Job Location: Beer Sheva, Hybrid, Tel-Aviv.
Requirements:
What you bring:
7+ years backend engineering, including 2+ years tech-leading or managing.
Deep experience in Node.js or Python (strong in the other).
Distributed systems/Kubernetes/cloud expertise; strong operational rigor.
Track record of scaling systems, improving reliability, and shipping fast.
Excellent communication, prioritization, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have:
Large K8s clusters (hundreds of nodes), GPU scheduling, NVIDIA stack (CUDA, Triton).

Team Leader - Integrations Frameworks:
Strategic Vision & Execution: Pioneer and execute a strategy, including necessary tooling, to achieve a 100x acceleration in the integration process.
Technical Leadership & Architecture: Lead the design and development of complex, modular services within the Tenable One platform, ensuring long-term maintainability. Drive high-level architectural discussions, guiding the team toward scalable, cloud-native best practices.
System Reliability & Quality: Champion a "production-first" approach to reliability. Lead root cause analysis for intricate distributed system issues and implement preventative measures to ensure guaranteed system uptime. Collaborate deeply with Product, SRE, QA, and Security teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements:
What You'll Need:
Experience leading at least two R&D teams, totaling a minimum of 4 years.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with an AI-focused development team.
BSc in Computer Science or a related degree from a recognized institution, or a strong track record in server-side development with advanced technical skills.
6+ years of experience in software engineering with a demonstrated ability to work on large-scale projects and solve complex technical problems.
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Kotlin, Java, Go, C#, or equivalent, with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
Strong expertise with distributed systems, cloud-native architecture (e.g., Kubernetes, microservices), and APIs.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with knowledge of best practices for deploying and maintaining cloud-based services.
Strong problem-solving skills, with experience debugging and resolving production issues in complex systems.
A proactive approach to task prioritization and a history of leading technical initiatives from conception to deployment with minimal supervision.
Prior experience working in the cybersecurity industry or working with security-centric data pipelines and protocols is advantage.
Bonus: Experience or familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and an understanding of how frontend applications consume and state-manage complex backend data.
