About the Role: As our UX/UI Design Team Leader, you will lead a newly formed team of 6 designers (3 in-house, 3 outsourced) through a pivotal phase of organizational growth. Your primary mission is to transform three distinct product lines into a single, unified, and mature design language. You will be the architect of our design strategy, standardizing methodologies, and mentoring a team of mid-level designers to reach their next professional level. This is a role for a seasoned leader who can bridge the gap between high-level strategy and high-fidelity execution, ensuring interface is as sophisticated as the technology behind it.
Responsibilities
As a UX/UI Design Team Leader, your impact will be:
Team Leadership & Maturation: Lead and mentor a hybrid team of 6 designers; define structured workflows, normalize design-to-development handoffs, and foster a professional, high-output culture.
Unified Design Strategy: Execute the strategic unification of three core products into a single, coherent visual and functional language over the coming year.
Design System & Branding: Define and govern the Design System, ensuring it serves as the "single source of truth" for both design and engineering.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with PMs and Marketing to align the products visual identity with the brand, and work closely with Engineering to ensure long-term feasibility and pixel-perfect implementation.
AI-Driven Innovation: Leverage AI tools (such as Figma plugins and automation) to accelerate design iterations, create rapid customer-facing prototypes, and optimize team efficiency.
Customer-Centric Design: Join PMs in customer sessions to translate feedback into conceptual ideas and elegant, comprehensible solutions.
Requirements: Proven Leadership: 2-3 years of experience in design management, with a track record of building processes and mentoring teams.
Deep Professional Experience: At least 6 years of experience in UX/UI design for complex, data-rich B2B platforms (Cybersecurity background is a plus, but high-scale startup experience is just as valued-e.g., from companies like SentinelOne, Palo Alto, Cyera, or Varonis).
Strategic Vision: Proven ability to take multiple products and unify them into a single, scalable design language.
Methodology Expert: Experience in "normalizing" design processes-from initial research and wireframing to design system governance and engineering handoff.
Technical & AI Savvy: Mastery of Figma and current design tools, with a proactive approach to integrating AI into the design workflow for faster prototyping.
Communication & Presence: Ability to articulate clear and compelling ideas to internal stakeholders and customers alike.
Education: Bachelors degree in Visual Communication or a related design field.
This position is open to all candidates.
