We are expanding and is looking for a DBA - preferably with SingleStore/Vertica experience. Work on major, challenging projects with enterprise and startup customers.
Design, develop & maintain the BIG DATA platform (SingleStore/Vertica).
Design, develop & maintain the BIG DATA infrastructure (development, monitoring, installation, integration, etc)
Be part of the dynamic and agile core DBA team.
Collaborate with field engineers for the deployment phases.
We may consider candidates who wish to transition from other databases to the world of Big Data.

What youll do: 
Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end BI and analytics solutions in the Google Cloud environment, primarily using BigQuery, dbt, and Looker, across the full lifecycle: data transformation, modeling, testing, and production deployment.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including defining data models, establishing relationships between data entities, and incorporating business logic into the analytical layer.
Provide ongoing BI support to the Finance department, including preparation of monthly reports, ad hoc analyses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to support BI solutions.

Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory, providing technical and business value to our customers in collaboration with Account Executives.
Operate as an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about our company. You will develop into a champion and trusted advisor on multiple issues of architecture, design, and implementation to lead to the successful adoption of the company Data Intelligence Platform.
Scale best practices in your field and support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and help build the company community in your region by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
Grow your knowledge and expertise to the level of a technical and/or industry specialist.

We are looking for an Experienced Big Data Engineer who loves solving complex problems at an extreme scale. In this role, you arent just building "internal pipelines"-you are developing the actual product our clients interact with. You will write high-performance code, optimize your own Spark processes for client freshness, and own features end-to-end. We need a "problem solver by nature, optimizer in their soul" who brings both technical depth and a great personality to a high-speed, deep technical team.
