As the Global Head of HR Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the companys inaugural global HR Operations function. This senior leadership position demands a visionary and operationally adept professional who will design and implement the operational foundation of HR across all regions. Your focus will be to ensure that HR processes and systems are not only efficient and scalable but also compliant with global standards and responsive to the needs of employees and managers worldwide.
This role uniquely blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, requiring the establishment of a new function, leadership of a global team, and proactive collaboration with HR Business Partners, Centers of Expertise, as well as business leaders globally. Your leadership will be critical to harmonizing HR operations to enable superior service delivery and an outstanding employee experience on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and Develop the HR Operations Function: Define a clear vision, devise the organizational structure, and develop an operating model and governance framework for global HR Operations that aligns with company strategy and culture.
Process Mapping and Continuous Improvement: Conduct comprehensive assessments of current HR operations across all regions to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps. Prioritize initiatives and redesign processes to optimize consistency, efficiency, and responsiveness.
Design and Implement Scalable HR Processes: Oversee the development of end-to-end HR processes covering the entire employee lifecycle from hiring to retirement. Ensure these processes meet compliance requirements and support continuous evolution and innovation.
HR Technology and Automation: Lead the selection, introduction, and management of cutting-edge HR technologies and automation tools. Focus on delivering simplified user experiences, enabling employee self-service, and enhancing data accuracy and accessibility.
Leadership of a Global Team: Build, manage, and develop a high-performing global HR Operations team. Support ongoing recruitment, skills enhancement, and leadership development to foster a collaborative and empowered team environment.
Global Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key partner to HR leaders, regional heads, and business stakeholders worldwide. Facilitate alignment between global strategies and local implementations, ensuring exceptional service quality adapted to regional specifics.
Standards Establishment and Performance Measurement: Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor service delivery, compliance, employee experience, and process efficiency. Use data-driven insights to continually enhance operational performance.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure strict compliance with relevant global and local labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. Proactively manage risks related to HR operations and recommend mitigation strategies.
Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Agile, embedding these principles in the HR Operations culture to drive efficiency and innovation.
