as a commercial legal counsel at the company, youll take on exciting legal challenges and tackle complex issues while supporting the companys success. in your day-to-day, you will:
draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts, including software license agreements, services agreements, lease agreements, and more
collaborate with various teams like procurement, finance, security, facilities, hr, and operations on commercial contracting matters to support business goals
provide practical, business-oriented legal advice and recommendations to stakeholders on a variety of legal and business issues
create, maintain, and improve standard templates, business processes, and internal policies
stay updated on applicable international laws and regulations
work with external counsel to implement business-enabling solutions
play a key role in safeguarding the companys legal interests and driving its success

We are looking for an experienced, business-oriented Commercial Legal Counsel to join the Legal team. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership, capable of leading their work independently, exercising sound judgment, and confidently handling complex, high-impact matters. The candidate should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and demonstrating a proactive, accountable approach with broad shoulders and a high level of responsibility.

What am I going to do?:

* Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide variety of commercial contracts, including agreements concerning technological purchase, SaaS, AI vendors, marketing, production, sponsorship, license, affiliates, partnerships, influencers, order forms, and related documents with suppliers, business partners, and customers.
* Provide ongoing legal support to multiple departments, business units, and subsidiaries within the organization to facilitate Fiverr’s day-to-day business activities.
* Coordinate with various teams in commercial contracting matters to support Fiverr’s policies and procedures.
* Create, maintain, and improve standard templates, business processes, and internal policies.
* Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice, and recommendations to various stakeholders on various legal and business issues, disputes, and ongoing legal risk assessment.
* Special projects as assigned from time to time.

This role is critical to our companys ability to scale efficiently and securely. As Corporate & M&A Counsel, you will sit at the center of the companys most strategic and operational initiatives-supporting global corporate governance, complex data and compliance matters, and high-impact M&A and strategic transactions.
You will balance day-to-day legal execution with periods of intense transactional focus, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to prioritize work based on urgency, risk, and business impact.
So, what will you be doing all day?
Lead and manage global corporate and operational legal matters, including insurance programs, vendor negotiations, and cross-border subsidiary issues.
Play a central role in M&A, investments, and other strategic transactions-from structuring and due diligence through negotiation, closing and Post merger Integration.
Advise on global corporate governance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Draft, review, negotiate and close commercial contracts, including license and services agreements, statements of work, and related documents with customers, partners, resellers, data licensors and vendors.
Own and manage due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), data compliance reviews, and AI- related legal assessments in response to customer, partner, and internal requests.
Support and continuously improve data, privacy, compliance, and AI governance processes, leveraging technology and AI tools to enable fast, high-quality turnaround.
Independently manage periods of high transactional intensity, flexing priorities as needed to meet business-critical deadlines.
Partner with Sales, Finance, Security, Product, HR, and Operations to provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice.
Manage and optimize relationships with external counsel, identifying opportunities to bring work in-house and control costs.
