Responsibilities

Work directly with internal stakeholders across different functions, including sales, finance, product, R&D, HR, procurement, security, and operations
Manage and coordinate with external counsel across jurisdictions and subject matters.

What will you do?
Handle the day-to-day legal work at our company under the guidance of, and reporting to, the companys Chief of Staff
Provide guidance to stakeholders, establish policies and monitor and manage compliance in relation to laws & regulation concerning AI, technology, product and SaaS, data privacy & security, and other innovative fields
Manage our commercial legal work across ALL fronts, including fast-pace with multi-national enterprise customers, partners and vendors negotiations in various geographies
Work closely with, and provide legal advice to, the company management team
Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice and recommendations to internal stakeholders across all departments to promote business initiatives and manage legal risks
Create and maintain legal documents and related assets, business processes and internal policies to help scale the business
Facilitate the companys relationship with external counsel in both Israel and the US

We seek a skilled Commercial and Product Legal Counsel to join our growing legal team. In this role, you'll negotiate agreements, draft contracts, and advise on commercial and product matters. You'll collaborate closely with product and sales teams, providing legal guidance to support business decisions.

What Youll Do:

Create, manage, and negotiate various terms and agreements related to strategic partnerships and product initiatives, including terms for new products and features, agreements for partners in the advertising space, and internal and external policies and guidelines.
Provide legal advice across many subject areas, including privacy laws, data protection laws and regulations, copyright law, consumer protection laws, and other global legal frameworks applicable to the companys products and services.

As Manager, Regulatory Compliance, Israel you will deliver on the regulatory engagement strategy . You will maintain our licensing responsibilities and coordinate with all internal and external parties as necessary to ensure compliance through the communication of regulatory requirements, cross-functional collaboration to productize solutions and offerings, implementation and execution of processes, filing of all requisite reports, renewal of registrations and licenses, end-to-end management of regulatory examinations, and interfacing with our regulators on ad-hoc inquiries. Responsibilities:

Support the expansion by managing the regulatory compliance components of licence authorisation processes

Act as a key stakeholder in relation to licence applications, business plan updates and information requests between Airwallex and our regulators

Ensure that our regulatory compliance and integrity risk reporting obligations are maintained in the region

Support and / or manage on-site exams and inspections (in collaboration with our LRC colleagues)

Advise the business with respect to regulatory change initiatives with a particular focus on how to effectively manage compliance risk attached to new laws and regulations in the jurisdictions we operate

Develop policies, processes and provide advice in relation to regulatory risk obligations that exist within the 1st line business

Manage regulatory compliance risk within the Risk Management Framework and associated escalation process (inc. the Group Risk Committee)

Deliver the Compliance Monitoring Program; Conduct targeted and thematic reviews on a wide range of topics to ensure appropriate organisational maturity
