As an R&D Team Leader you will:
Lead a team of 5-7 developers working on a large-scale, complex, and innovative product
Manage the delivery of multiple domains within the product, spanning various disciplines and technologies from design through release
Identify and manage risks and challenges, ensuring alignment, commitment, and high-quality execution across all stakeholders
Make key decisions that focus effort on the most impactful opportunities for the successful implementation of team initiatives

This role combines deep distributed systems with modern ML infrastructure challenges such as high-throughput inference, safe model rollouts, and multi-cloud GPU efficiency. You will also help evolve core libraries and developer-facing tools, including logging, observability, and visibility components.
As a senior technical leader, you will influence architecture across squads, lead complex development efforts, and remain heavily hands-on.
As a Tech Lead in Core Platform in you will

Extend the platform to support reliable, high-performance inference and training workflows

Were looking for a hands-on, highly technical Team Leader to lead our Data Collectors Core Infrastructure team (DCA_CORE). This team owns core infrastructure services that are foundational to our platforms stability, scalability, and developer productivity.
Youll lead a small, high-impact team of 2 engineers in a remote/distributed environment, and youll be deeply involved in architecture, coding, reviews, and operational ownership.
Responsibilities:
Lead a small remote team while staying hands-on: design, implement, and review production-grade code.
Own the architecture and delivery of core DCA infrastructure services, from design through production rollout and continuous improvement.
Build and operate high-scale SaaS services on AWS, with strong emphasis on reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
Design and maintain message-driven components using pub/sub systems and asynchronous processing.
Drive engineering excellence: CI/CD, testing strategy, release safety, monitoring/alerting, and postmortems.
Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Product, and Operations on priorities, interfaces, and dependencies.
Mentor and grow engineers via technical leadership, feedback; support hiring as needed.
