As Head of Operations, youll be responsible for the smooth, safe, and efficient execution of all port operations. Youll lead large-scale teams, optimize processes, leverage technology, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This is a hands-on leadership role with a significant impact on operational performance, customer satisfaction, and the ports strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all port operations, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient handling across all business segments.
Drive process optimization by developing and refining SOPs to improve turnaround time and service quality.
Ensure optimal deployment of manpower, equipment, and infrastructure to achieve operational targets.
Monitor KPIs, analyze variances, and implement improvement actions.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance at all times.
Leverage digital tools and automation to enhance visibility, productivity, and decision-making.
Lead, coach, and develop operational managers and supervisors to foster collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders including vendors, contractors, and port authorities to ensure seamless operations.
Manage operational risks and respond swiftly to disruptions or crises.
Report regularly to the COO
Requirements: Logistics Management or Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, or Industrial preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 10 years in port or logistics operations, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing 300+ employees.
Skills:
Proven leadership and people management experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Familiarity with port automation and operational systems
