The Head of R D will be responsible for building and leading a multidisciplinary R D team, including software engineers, Hardware engineers, Automation/ PLC engineers, mechanical engineers, and AI developers..
Lead the company R D in alignment with the Product team, in light of the vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Build, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary R D team.
Drive development lifecycle management from concept through launch.
Oversee all aspects of hardware, software, mechanical, and PLC system design and integration.
Remain hands-on with architecture, code review, and system design and engineering, in legacy environment like C #/.NET and lead transition to, and adoption of, new technologies as cloud, IoT, etc.
Drive adoption of best practices in Agile development, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Electronics, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering Mandatory.
Experience working in start-up preferably in fields of robotics, industrial automation, and AI.
Proven experience of at least 6 years in senior R D management roles as Head of R D.
Experience in development of complex products that integrate software, hardware, Embedded systems and AI. Experience with mechanical engineering development preferred.
Experience and knowledge in welding or steel processing a significant.
Experience and knowledge in industrial manufacturing Mandatory. Experience with Industry 4.0 a significant.
Familiarity with PLCs, IoT, mechanical integration, and Embedded systems. Experience in SCADA an advantage.
Strong hands-on background in software development, in legacy environment, particularly in C #,.NET, and modern cloud-based and IoT systems.
