We are looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that supports our applications and services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS, as well as proficiency in scripting and automation tools. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure that our cloud environments are secure, scalable, and highly available. Your primary goal will be to streamline our deployment processes, reduce downtime, and improve the overall efficiency of our cloud operations. In addition to technical skills, you should have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Which department will you join?
The Cloud team of the Development Infrastructure (DI) department is responsible for our Cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud. We develop mainly in Python, and some Golang. We are developing highly efficient systems for the company, running on up to 500K CPUs, processing hundreds of Petabytes of data monthly collected from all over the world. We also provide networking, security, governance, support, and guidance for all of our diverse uses of AWS across tens of AWS accounts, including ML Training and AWS China. 
What will your job look like?
Analyze, optimize, and implement cost optimization actions over different cloud services
Implement and manage automated tools to help identify cost trends and anomalies
Create financial and usage dashboards
Work with our technical teams to design and implement new services in the most cost-efficient way
Work with the financial teams on budget, forecast, and expenses reports
Work closely with our finance and legal departments to negotiate cost terms and contracts.
