we are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our global R&D team.
What You Will Do:
Serve as a quality pillar within the squad, leading testing activities and improving overall test strategy.
Plan, develop, execute, and maintain API and UI automation tests as part of our SDLC.
Increase test coverage and stabilize existing automation tests.
Drive quality initiatives, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high product quality.
Develop and enhance test automation within the squad to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test failures, automation tools, and test environments.
Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives from a testing perspective.
Promote and advocate for best practices in testing and automation across the squad.
Requirements: 4+ years of experience in planning, developing, executing, and maintaining automation tests (API & UI) using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Proficiency in automation frameworks and tools - Jest, Cypress (mandatory) and Mocha / Playwright.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and experience in writing STP, STD.
Solid understanding of databases (Postgres, SQL, NoSQL such as Elasticsearch).
Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
