Are you passionate about providing Database technical solutions to our key customers? This role is for a senior database solution architect who has experience with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB, and/or In-memory databases such as memcached, and/or relational databases such as PostgreSql who will act as a subject matter expert for helping customers in designing database solutions that leverage our serverless and managed services. You will directly interact with key customers to understand their business problems, design architectures, guide customers in implementations, deliver briefing and deep-dive sessions to upskill customers and help them adopt your solutions. As part of the EMEA GTM database specialist team, you will work closely with other solution architects from various geographies with diverse expertise in Data and AI domains to deliver end-to-end solutions to our customers. As a senior member, you will interact with other database solution architects in the field, providing guidance on their customer engagements. You will develop reference architectures, white papers, and presentations to enable customers and partners to fully leverage our database services. You will also create field enablement materials for the broader technical field population, to help them understand how to integrate our database solutions into customer business applications. You will drive effective feedback gathering from customers, and distill and translate that feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams to review.

Candidates must have great communication skills and be very technical, with the ability to impress Amazon Web Services customers at any level, from executive to developer. Travels in EMEA region and occasionally to other regions may be possible.
