Requirements:
Over 2 years' experience as DBA (infrastructure and applications), preferably with experience in production environment
Proven track record with Linux at a high level
Vertica experience is a significant advantage!
Undergraduate degree in computer science / engineering or candidates with army service in software development / system administration - a significant advantage.
Patient and service-oriented, can fit well into a team, good self-learning skills and lateral, high-pressure work.
Experience in working with customers.

Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) in production environments.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, especially MSSQL 2019 and MSSQL 2022.
Primary focus on infrastructure tasks (Infrastructure DBA; 70% infrastructure-related).
MANDATORY: Advanced experience in installing, configuring, and supporting high-availability solutions like AlwaysOn Availability Groups and Failover Cluster Instances (FCI).
Advanced skills in managing database backup and disaster recovery (Backup & Restore).
Knowledge and practical experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Hands-on skills in monitoring and performance optimization of SQL Server (SQL Profiler, Extended Events, SQL Server Performance Monitor, SQL Sentry, SolarWinds DPA, RedGate SQL Monitor, or equivalent tools).
Experience in database migrations, including minimal downtime scenarios.
Strong proficiency in T-SQL query language.
Candidate must be willing to perform on-call duties once a week.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud solutions (Azure SQL Database, Azure Managed Instance).
Familiarity with virtualization tools VMware, Hyper-V (preferred).
Automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages (preferred).
Understanding DevOps principles and practical experience with CI/CD tools, especially GitLab.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
Familiarity with Transaction Replication technology (preferred).
