Required VLSI Backend Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated VLSI Backend Team Leader to join and lead our dynamic team.
As part of this position, you will lead a team of experienced engineers working on parallel projects, and play a crucial role in the design and implementation of complex designs, flow development, and the latest technology node bring-up and integration.
The Backend team leader will be required to do 50% hands on work and 50% managerial work.

We are looking for an Experienced Chip Architect with extensive experience in HW and system architecture to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a technology leader in multidisciplinary programs, working closely with major customers and internal teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Engage in technical discussions with customers alongside Marketing to refine product requirements
Translate customers' requirements and expectations into detailed chip architectural specifications that enable market differentiation
Provide functional specifications for chip hardware design and Embedded software development
Serve as a center of knowledge and key contributor for all functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
Support design and implementation processes
Participate in design reviews and verification / validation plan reviews Assist in system debug and problem resolution
Support post-silicon integration and software development.

Lead the complete DFT solutions in a chip design by working with chip DFT team to document DFT specifications, and define the SoC test interface Develop and implement DFT architecture Work with the validation team to verify DFT implementations and implement design changes Generate structural test vectors, analyze and improve coverage Work with designers on STA, physical, power and logical issues Work with Test Engineers to bring up test vectors on silicon.

What will you be doing: The Analog Engineer will be involved in developing cutting-edge products for the solar market. They will be responsible for designing and developing versatile electronic circuits (both analog and digital), conducting simulations and testing, and ensuring the product is ready for mass production. This role offers the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of electrical circuits, software, the full system, and the R&D process.
* Research, design, and develop analog communication circuits.
* Lab tests of the analog circuits using Spectrum, Scope, and other lab equipment.

Our products involves: digital and high power hardware design, mechanical solutions and software design and development. The position includes interfaces with R&D groups in Israel and abroad. What you will be doing:
* The engineer will deal with board design (both analog and digital), electrical testing and electrical debug
* The position requires a good understanding of board design and tools, including high voltage/current and RF.
* The HW engineer will get a deep understanding of both the electrical circuits, full SolarEdge system and how mass production works.
* The job contains close work with R&D/Embedded/Engineering and Production teams. Requirements:
* B.Sc. in Electrical engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a Board and PCBA or system design.
* Experience in Analog and/or Power electronics designs (DC/DC topologies design, Analog circuits design, Noise and Signal integrity concerns.
* Meticulousness and excellent organizational skills
* Experience working with lab equipment, for ex. Spectrum, Scope, Electronic Loads
* Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
* Good computer skills
* High skills in English, speaking and writing

The Integration Engineer will develop, perform and analyze System Validation tests and will take part in the system review processes, with an understanding of the market requirement, system design, and the end user’s expectations. As part of this tangible role, you will design and deploy Physical Layer algorithms for wireless sensing systems. Join a strong and experienced team in the fields of wireless communication and sensing, developing cutting edge technology and latest and greatest standards.

As part of your responsibilities, you will:
Develop radar and ranging signal processing algorithms for best-in-class implementation in various systems.
Conduct research of existing solutions in literature.
Involvement in block level spec definition.
Perform mathematical analysis of the given problem and its proposed solutions.
Implement floating-point simulations to prove spec compliance of suggested solution.
Implement fixed-point modeling and simulation to allow performance sign-off and RTL/FW bit-exact development.
Write detailed design documents that will enable implementation of algorithms by other teams specializing in either RTL design or DSP firmware coding.
Optimize and fine-tune the system for spec compliance on silicon in an RF lab environment.

* Learning the different aspects of our products by developing features in various areas and disciplines - power electronics, control theory, DSP and communication over different platform
* Design, develop, optimizing, test and maintain complex and exciting embedded SW for power electronics and control systems in a multi processors environment
* Developing on various micro-controllers and dealing with various RT constraints
* Ownership of a project\product from end to end- from concept and simulation, through development and integration and field deployment
* Building complex simulations integrating SW and HW and working hand by hand with HW team
