We are looking for an experienced M365 Compliance Purview Specialist to serve as the primary SME driving the activation and operationalization of MS Purview across the enterprise. You will bridge the gap between Legal, Privacy, Cyber security, Risk, and IT operational teams (SecOps, M365Ops) to translate regulatory needs into executable technical deployment plans
:Responsibilities
Partner with Legal, Cyber, Risk, and Compliance teams to define business needs, evaluate Purview features, and guide adoption
DTranslate business logic into functional specs for implementation teams (SecOps, M365Ops, Infrastructure) and track rollout dependencies and risks
CSupport policy design and processes across DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Records Management, Retention, Audit, and Insider Risk
Implement governance, risk, and data protection controls to ensure compliance for 365 Copilot and AI deployment
Requirements: Deep, proven expertise across the Microsoft Purview M365 Compliance suite.
Strong ability to translate complex legal/regulatory requirements into IT execution plans.
Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills (Legal, Security, and IT Ops).
Experience with data governance and risk controls for M365 Copilot / AI is a major plus.
