The Role A system Engineer joining our core team and working closely with the company's technical leaders.
The role combines hands-on lab and field work with broad system -level thinking.
At this stage the emphasis is hands-on: building experimental setups, establishing a lab and R&D infrastructure, working with components and integration - with an opportunity to grow toward system architecture as the product evolves.
80-90% on-site.
Requirements: Technical Background BSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics (MSc/PhD - an advantage) Hands-on experience with fiber-optic and electro-optical systems Background in sensors and/or interferometry Experience with data acquisition and signal processing system engineering experience from industry - significant advantage Advantages Familiarity with interrogators and laser components Background in mechanics, materials or packaging Experience with acoustics and acoustic sensors Experience designing and executing field deployments and field-level product validation Experience leading structured development processes (design reviews, alternatives development, V&V milestones) Ideal Candidate Profile Deep practical understanding of fiber optics and interferometry A "builder" mindset
