Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of DevOps engineers.
Oversee environment versioning, configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
revolutionize our text-based configuration into a generator-based process, supporting a quick span to multiple servers and flexibility to development expansions.
Drive DevOps knowledge collection and team training - the DevOps team should be the Gold standard as to how to configure and deploy any component or module.
Manage the team - recruit, train, allocate tasks, supervise delivery. (Note that you are not expected to be the technical leader).
Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, including monitoring, incident response, and security hardening.
Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance reliability, scalability, and speed of delivery.
Requirements: 7+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity
Experience working with multiple external customers.
Strong knowledge of version control systems: Git and SVN.
Strong background in Linux systems administration (preferably RedHat 8).
Experience with Database applicative versioning
Experience with large, non-cloud-based systems
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Experience managing production systems in a mission-critical environment.
