Responsibilities:
* Implement electro-optical TEST plans for products under development or qualification.
* Support testing and characterization stations in the RND labs.
* Develop and improve methods for testing and characterization of Silicon photonics devices.
* Analyze TEST data and DOE results to provide vital insight into the development of innovative silicon photonics products.
* Support cross-functional failure investigations to identify root cause and corrective and preventative action.

The CTO Integrator plays a key role in planning, building, and conducting tests of jigs for experiments. This position involves designing, building, and integrating test systems to ensure experiments meet their required specifications and physical phenomena.


Responsibilities:
Jig Construction and Testing: Build and integrate jigs, then conduct tests to ensure they function as required.
Test Design: Design and develop tests for experiments in a research and development environment.
Simulation Verification: Ensure that test jigs simulate the necessary physical phenomena for accurate testing.
Technology Assessment: Examine new technologies, run tests, and analyze data for potential integration.
Collaboration with Researchers: Work closely with researchers to ensure test systems align with experimental needs.

We are looking for a Photonics Design Engineer with proven, hands-on experience designing, simulating, and measuring active silicon-photonics components (e.g., modulators, phase shifters, photodiodes).
Responsibilities
Design and model active Silicon Photonics devices; own specs, compact models, and layout intent.
Drive design for manufacturability: analyze performance across
process/voltage/temperature corners and wafer variability; run Monte-Carlo/tolerance studies.
Build scripted, parametric simulation flows (sweeps/optimization) and extract figures of merit (EO S21, VπL, responsivity, dark current, bandwidth, IL).
Plan and execute lab/wafer-level measurements; close the model-to-silicon loop by comparing data to simulations and updating models.
Collaborate with process, test, and packaging teams on masks, runsets, and DFT/DFM reviews.
