What youll be doing:
The selected candidate will be characterizing and performing tests of electro-optical components.
This job allows you to work in a sophisticated, exciting engineering environment supporting the development of future components and exploring new technologies.
The task will include building and operating test setups with optical fibers, lasers, optics and electronics.
Requirements: We are looking for a creative and independent Product Engineer.
BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering/ Physics/ related degree in engineering or electro-optics fields is required.
3 years of experience in characterizing of semiconductors lasers and photodetectors for fiber optic communication is an advantage.
Ability to work in a team with varied strengths, strong social skills and a real passion for working as a team are substantial.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Familiar with electro-optical and high-speed lab environment (optical table, light coupling, fibers and probe station).
Operating laboratory equipment such as high-speed scopes, signal generators and calibration of testing tools.
Knowledge in electro-optics devices testing including laser diodes and photo diodes.
Programming skills in MATLAB/ Python.
Proficient in English.
