We are looking for a highly experienced, independent, and strategically minded IP Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to shape and protect the companys intellectual property assets across various technologies while working at the intersection of science, law, and business.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic advice on all aspects of intellectual property, including IP-related transactions, freedom to operate (FTO) analyses, and protection of IP rights.
Identify and manage the prosecution of new inventions, trademarks, and designs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, competitors, and innovation trends.
Draft and review IP-related agreements (scope may vary depending on the candidate's qualifications).
Plan and manage the IP budget and external counsel resources.
Prepare technical disclosures for external patent counsel.
Conduct prior art searches, review findings, and provide thorough analyses.
Assist in analyzing office actions and preparing appropriate responses.
Oversee day-to-day IP portfolio management, including docketing and ensuring timely compliance with all deadlines.
Support legal-tech matters that involve the interface between law and technology beyond traditional IP.
Collaborate with legal counsel to promote confidentiality policies and increase organizational awareness.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields.
10+ years of hands-on experience in IP this is a highly independent role.
Certified Patent Attorney.
LL.B. and certification as a practicing lawyer an advantage.
Proven creative and strategic thinking an out-of-the-box mindset is a must.
Broad technological understanding across life sciences, engineering, and physics disciplines.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent writing skills and high proficiency in English Hebrew is a strong plus.
