The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end subcontracting (jobbing) operations for global products, ensuring efficient coordination between external suppliers and internal stakeholders. The role focuses on production planning, supply continuity, logistics coordination, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage subcontracting activities from forecasting through order completion.
Coordinate production plans, material supply, and shipment schedules.
Monitor supplier performance, inventory, and delivery timelines.
Support logistics, shipping documentation, and customs-related activities.
Control operational costs, approve invoices, and support system updates.
Serve as the key contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Materials & Supply Planning
Manage supply of raw materials, packaging materials, and labels to subcontractors.
Monitor and control inventory levels at external manufacturing sites.
Create and maintain production reports and subcontracting purchase orders.
Logistics & Documentation
Coordinate shipments and communicate delivery timelines.
Work closely with Logistics to ensure smooth product flow.
Support shipping documentation and customs-related activities.
Maintain communication with fiscal representatives and external partners.
Financial & Administrative Control
Approve supplier invoices and monitor payments.
Control operational costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
Support item creation and system updates with Finance and Master Data teams.
Stakeholder & Customer Management
Serve as the key contact for subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
Ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining supply reliability.
Support resolution of quality issues and customer complaints.
