We are seeking a Product-Oriented Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of battery systems, from concept through production release. This role emphasizes robust, manufacturable design of battery modules and systems, and hands-on support through prototyping, validation, and industrialization.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical architectures for battery modules and systems, including enclosures, frames, compression systems, mounts, and safety features.
Own mechanical design from concept, detailed design, and prototyping through DVT/PVT and production release.
Define and manage mechanical requirements related to strength, vibration, shock, sealing, thermal interfaces, and serviceability.
Perform structural and fatigue analysis (FEA) to validate designs against automotive, marine, or industrial standards.
Collaborate closely with thermal, electrical, and systems engineers to ensure proper integration of cells, busbars, thermal systems, and electronics.
Support battery safety design, including mechanical protection, cell retention, venting paths, and abuse mitigation features.
Support prototype builds and root-cause analysis during testing and production ramp-up.
Generate and maintain detailed drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.

We are seeking a Battery Testing Engineer to plan, execute, and analyze battery tests at the cell, module, and pack levels. This role is highly hands-on and data-driven, focusing on performance validation, safety testing, and reliability of battery systems throughout development and production phases.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans for battery cells, modules, and packs, including performance, lifecycle, safety, and environmental testing.
Support prototype builds and validation testing.
Operate battery test equipment such as cyclers, thermal chambers, power supplies, load banks, and DAQ systems.
Analyze test data to evaluate capacity, efficiency, degradation, thermal behavior, and failure modes.
Define test procedures, acceptance criteria, and reporting formats in alignment with product requirements and standards.
Support abuse, stress, and safety testing (thermal, electrical, mechanical) in controlled lab environments.
Investigate test anomalies and failures, perform root-cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineers to correlate test results with design assumptions.
Maintain test documentation, lab records, and calibration status of equipment.

Team Building & Mentorship: Recruit, grow, and lead a high-performing team of engineers and scientists.
Execution Excellence: Manage product development from proof of concept through TRL 6+ validation and certification (IATF, DNV).
IP Strategy & Compliance: Oversee patent filings and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Customer & Partner Engagement: Lead technical engagement with OEMs, Tier 1s, and partners to support development milestones, PoCs, and product integration.
