Who We're Looking For - The Dream Maker As a Senior BI Analyst at Chargeflow, you will own the companys BI layer end-to-end-turning business questions into trusted metrics decision-ready dashboards, and proactive monitoring that helps teams move faster with confidence in the numbers. You will be responsible for the following key areas: Metrics & Definitions (Single Source of Truth): Define, standardize, and document KPIs (logic, grain, filters, edge cases) so the company aligns on what good looks like and avoids metric drift. Dashboard Delivery & Storytelling: Build and maintain accurate, performant dashboards that surface trends, risks, and root-cause signals (not just charts). data Quality & Observability: Implement data quality checks, anomaly detection, and alerting to catch issues before they impact decision-making. Stakeholder Partnership: Run a clear BI intake/triage process, manage priorities, and communicate tradeoffs and timelines across Product, Finance, Ops, and Leadership. Day-to-day activities
* Translate stakeholder questions into metric specs and dashboard requirements.
* QA metric outputs vs sources; investigate discrepancies and drive fixes.
* Build/iterate dashboards and underlying datasets/semantic definitions.
* Maintain KPI glossary/metrics dictionary and publish changes with clear comms.
* Set up and tune monitoring for critical pipelines/metrics; own follow-ups when alerts fire. Success indicators
* Stakeholders consistently use dashboards as the default source (not spreadsheets / one-off pulls).
* Core KPIs have one documented definition, clear ownership, and stable change management.
* BI requests become faster and more repeatable due to reusable certified assets.
* data issues are detected proactively, with fewer surprise metric regressions.
Requirements: Qualifications:
* Strong SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, performance reasoning).
* Proven experience owning BI deliverables end-to-end (metrics + dashboards + documentation).
* Strong analytical modeling intuition (facts/dims, grains, joins).
* Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders; can push back with data and tradeoffs.
* Ownership mindset and high quality bar for data reliability. Nice-to-haves:
* Familiarity with B2B SaaS / fintech KPIs (e.g., revenue, churn/retention, cohort analysis).
* Experience with data observability / testing / alerting practices.
