We are looking for a Radio System Integration Engineer to join our Radio System & Integration team.
In this role, you will lead and execute end-to-end integration of advanced wireless communication systems, working across hardware, software, RF, and system domains. You will play a key role in bringing new products from development into fully integrated, validated, and deployable solutions.
This position requires strong hands-on technical expertise, a system-level perspective, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
System Integration & Execution:
Lead integration activities for new radio platforms, products, and features
Develop and execute system-level integration and test plans across RF, baseband, FPGA, software, and power domains
Perform system bring-up, validation, and debugging of wireless communication products (e.g., point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, 5G, LTE, microwave/mmWave systems)
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate activities between R&D, system engineering, V&V, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and product readiness processes
Ensure smooth transition from development to production and deployment
Field & Customer Support:
Support field integration, validation, and troubleshooting at customer sites when required
Interface directly with customers and partners to resolve system-level issues and support successful deployments
Continuous Improvement & Reporting:
Drive improvements in integration methodologies, tools, and workflows
Track and report integration progress, risks, and KPIs to management
Contribute to enhancing product quality and system robustness
Work Environment:
Combination of lab, office, and occasional on-site customer work
Collaboration with global R&D, integration, and customer support teams.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Communications, or a related field
3+ years of experience in system integration of radio-based products
Strong understanding of RF concepts, modulation, wireless protocols, and link budget analysis
Hands-on experience with lab equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs)
Familiarity with embedded systems, FPGA, modem architecture, and HW/SW interaction
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including cross-domain root-cause analysis
Excellent communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
Experience with automation and scripting (Python and/or MATLAB)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in telecom domains (microwave, mmWave, cellular, satellite, or wireless backhaul)
Knowledge of IP networking, synchronization (PTP/SyncE), and traffic testing tools (e.g., IXIA, Spirent)
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (FCC, ETSI).
This position is open to all candidates.
