Job description
Systems Engineer to develop instruments and methods related to optical systems, color management, mechanical instrumentation, and measurements validation.
What will you do?
Contribute to the development of the companys systems and sub-systems (mechanics, pneumatic, electrical, electronics, control, software, chemistry, optics, etc.).
Work in a wide range of areas, innovate, and present work to our management.
Act as a design authority for a complete system or subsystems or fields within it.
Translate product requirements and field issues into engineering requirements and corresponding architectures.
Evaluating alternative solutions, support development teams in a matrix structure (SW, mechanics, chemistry, electronics, etc).
Perform necessary calculations and simulations required for system development, manage technical risks.
Setup integration and testing environments, develop and assembly of testing facilities and prototypes, and analyze results.
Set guidelines to the verification and validation process.
Lead root cause analysis processes.
Requirements: What should you have:
B.Sc. or Engineering degree.
At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer for multidisciplinary development - a must.
Experience from a printing or capital equipment company - an advantage.
Master's in systems engineering - an advantage.
Background of physical modeling - an advantage.
Experience in building systems architecture - an advantage.
Experience in motion control systems - an advantage.
Knowledge of statistical tools - an advantage.
Experience in team lead - an advantage.
Proven experience applying advanced AI capabilities in systems engineering practices- an advantage.
Familiarity with defining, evaluating, and integrating AI/ML solutions into complex, multidisciplinary systems-including translating operational requirements into practical use cases and architectures, working with LLMs (fine-tuning, RAG, model evaluation), and deploying/maintaining on-premises or private-cloud AI infrastructure (open-source LLMs, GPU environments, MLOps, and model lifecycle management)- an advantage.
