Responsibilities
Design and implement advanced features for Waze App.
Help improve user experience for Waze on iOS.
Collaborate with visual designers, prototypers and product managers.
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product or program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

The team manages all engineering infrastructure for Waze data scientists, including: GenAI frameworks for internal applications and analytics (DataWhiz), evaluation frameworks for user-facing features, and MLOps for training and deploying ML models at scale. Additionally, the team oversees data pipeline infrastructures, infrastructure as code, and the application of engineering best practices within data science.
