For more information, visit artlist.io As a Finance Operations Specialist , you will be the technological and operational engine of our Finance department, designed to bridge the gap between finance, engineering, and data teams. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing our finance tech stack, ensuring our core systems are tailored to support our rapid growth, while acting as a central node for cross-departmental financial data flows. You will act as an automation leader within the team, proactively identifying manual bottlenecks and replacing them with smart workflows and modern finance tools. By stabilizing our systems and strengthening our data infrastructure, you will free up the FP&A and Accounting teams from repetitive technical tasks, allowing the entire department to shift its focus from manual data gathering to strategic decision-making. What You Will Own Cross-Functional Data Leadership: Act as the central partner between the Finance and Data departments, defining data requirements, maintaining operational models, and ensuring data integrity across all financial systems. System Maintenance & Optimization: Support the ongoing configuration, maintenance, and technical health of core financial platforms (such as our ERP and AP workflows), ensuring they meet the team's evolving needs. Process Automation: Proactively identify manual finance processes and design automated solutions using advanced tools and integrations to save time and reduce human error. Cloud & Tech Spend Analytics: Partner with Engineering and Data teams to represent the financial side of our cloud and AI spend, analyzing cost data and building real-time dashboards to track unit economics. Financial Workflows: Streamline bookkeeping and accounting workflows, including vendor management and month-end tasks, ensuring the "finance machine" runs smoothly and autonomously. Tech Evaluation: Constantly evaluate and implement new technologies and features to ensure Artlist remains at the forefront of modern, data-driven finance.
Requirements: * 3–5 years of experience in Finance Operations, FinOps, or Finance Technology at a SaaS or tech company.
* Advanced hands-on experience and proficiency in NetSuite (Administrator or Power User level).
* Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
* Proven track record in managing or owning AP automation workflows, with a strong preference for experience with Zip (or similar platforms like Tipalti).
* Solid understanding of SQL , with the ability to extract and validate financial data from various databases.
* Proven experience working directly with Data and Engineering teams on data pipelines, reporting, and tech cost structures.
* Strong understanding of SaaS revenue models including ARR, Churn, NRR, and deferred revenue.
* A "Builder" mindset with a natural drive to automate manual processes and implement scalable, AI-driven solutions. Nice to Have:
