We are seeking an experienced, curious, and creative Process Engineer with strong system-level thinking to join our Technology team.
The role is responsible for driving continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, leading the successful transition of products from development to production (NPI), and developing and implementing new manufacturing processes in close collaboration with R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
This is a hands-on, impactful role that requires a balance between broad system understanding and attention to detail, rapid learning ability, creative problem-solving, and effective cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes, including bottleneck analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Own NPI activities, including definition of manufacturing processes, preparation of work instructions, and hands-on support during pilot builds and initial production runs
Develop and implement new manufacturing processes in collaboration with R&D and Engineering teams
Apply DFM principles early in the development phase to improve manufacturability, product stability, and cost efficiency
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective and preventive actions as part of continuous improvement initiatives
Define, write, and maintain technical specifications, test procedures, and process documentation
Lead process validation activities and statistical analyses to ensure process capability and robustness
Drive engineering changes and actively participate in ECO / CCB processes
Collaborate closely with Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Procurement, and suppliers (local and global)
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to production lines, including training, ramp-up activities, and implementation of process improvements.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering / Materials Engineering / Mechanical Engineering - required
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in Process Engineering or NPI roles - required
Proven experience in transferring products from development to production and improving existing manufacturing processes - required
Knowledge of DFM, DOE, and Lean Manufacturing principles - advantage
Experience with ERP systems, BOM management, and production documentation - advantage
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with JMP or other statistical analysis tools - advantage
Full professional proficiency in English - reading, writing, and technical communication
Fast self-learner with strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
Capable of operating in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
