we are currently seeking applicants for a Calibration & QA Technician.
In this position you will perform calibration of electrical and electronic measuring devices and to maintain QA/QC equipment used in production and laboratory environments
What you will be doing:
Calibrate electrical/electronic instruments (DMMs, LCR meters, high temperature ovens, power supplies, environmental chambers, sensors, etc.).
Maintain traceability, calibration records, certificates, and instrument status labels.
Perform maintenance on QA/QC equipment (environmental chambers, ovens, vision systems, electrical testers, solderability tester, small reflow oven).
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate vendor service when needed.
Manage calibration schedules, equipment inventory, and documentation per ISO 9001 / basic 17025 requirements.
Support audits and NCR/OOT investigations.
Requirements: Technician diploma in Electronics/Electrical, Metrology, or similar.
2+ years of experience in calibration or equipment maintenance in a manufacturing/lab environment.
Hands-on experience with electrical measurement instruments and troubleshooting.
Familiar with QA/ISO processes, ESD controls, and electrical safety.
Strong documentation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Software: Experience with Excel/Word; basic data analysis.
Language: Ability to read, understand, and write technical documentation in English.
Preferred:
Certifications: Metrology/Calibration technician certification
Experience in electronics/components manufacturing (e.g., capacitors, resistors, assemblies).
Experience with environmental test systems (temperature/humidity chambers) and electrical test equipment.
Familiarity with equipment databases and basic data analysis.
