As a Billing & Collection specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the companys revenue operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all billing and collections activities. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Controller, you will own the full billing and accounts receivable cycle - from interpreting commercial contracts and configuring them in NetSuite, to issuing accurate invoices, monitoring receivables, and driving timely collections from our global customer base.
This role requires strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with Sales, Legal, CSM, and other Finance functions. You will act as the main focal point for customer billing matters and will ensure that every contract is translated into clean, compliant, and efficient billing processes.
What Youll Do:
Review commercial contracts and translate billing terms into clear accounting and operational requirements.
Set up customers, billing schedules, and contract parameters in NetSuite, including recurring billing and contract adjustments.
Fully manage the AR cycle: monitor outstanding receivables, track payments, analyze aging, and proactively follow up with customers.
Lead collection activities, including special billing requirements, reconciliation issues, customer documentation, and collaboration with international collection agencies when required.
Own customer billing issues end-to-end investigate discrepancies, provide updates, and maintain accurate tracking, while delivering professional and empathetic communication.
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Legal, Customer Success) to resolve billing-related issues and support cross-functional processes.
Support month-end close activities, including AR and billing reports, reconciliations, and revenue-related data preparation.
Requirements: At least 2 years of experience as a Billing Specialist, AR Specialist, or in Finance Operations.
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field - Advantage
Experience working with international collection agencies.
Hands-on experience with NetSuite and experience with Salesforce is a strong advantage.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
High-level English :written and verbal for daily communication with global customers.
