Key responsibilities:

Leading an R&D group of 10-15 engineers, designing, deploying and upgrading capital equipment used during research, development, and manufacturing processes. The product is software heavy, multidisciplinary highly specialized machinery.
Leading the group activities, through the full life cycle of the products, from concept to validation, integration, deployment and sustained engineering.
Participate in requirements definition, system design, and design reviews with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Technical lead of multidisciplinary system development
Communicating business requirements, criteria and needs to software development teams

Assist in defining coding standards and guidelines for developers to follow.
Designing and revising a projects structure
Distributing development tasks to a team of software engineers
Writing sections of code as part of development in a project
System characterization, system documentation management and address system requirements

Enhance operations by performing systems analysis; suggest modifications in procedures and policies
Provide architectural oversight and guidance to Engineering teams

In this pivotal role, you'll manage the entire ASIC development lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver cutting-edge technology that powers the future of autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities

Own and lead the end-to-end ASIC development process.
Act as the central point of contact for all ASIC-related activities, collaborating with Product, Firmware, Computer Vision, Hardware, and other stakeholders.
Drive the ASIC program work plan, ensuring alignment and coordination across global teams and multiple workstreams.
Define and enforce VLSI development methodologies, design flows, and quality standards.
Evaluate and select both digital and analog IPs required for the ASIC.
Manage relationships and deliverables with external VLSI partners and service providers, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Based on collected data and information, determine if specifications, regulations, customers expectations, and acceptance criteria are satisfied According to automotive standards
Generate formal technical reports, and present conclusions to stakeholders
Conduct Failure Analysis investigations, diagnose failed components and find the root cause for the failure

Coordinate and perform hands-on EMC testing on full systems and components
Select, calibrate, and configure the right instrumentation (such as EMI Receiver, cables, antennas, LISN, coupling network, etc.)
Based on collected data and information, determine if specifications, regulations, customers expectations, and acceptance criteria are satisfied According to automotive standards
Generate formal technical reports, and present conclusions to stakeholders
Conduct Failure Analysis investigations, diagnose failed components, and find the root cause of the failure
Recommend corrective actions (e.g. re-design Schematics, Components, Layout, etc.)
