This is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for shaping our companys long-term strategic direction in an increasingly complex and fast-moving cybersecurity landscape. You will lead our efforts in identifying future trends, assessing emerging technologies, tracking competitive activity, and translating insights into actionable business strategies that guide product development, go-to-market priorities, and corporate growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Foresight & Market Intelligence
Lead global research initiatives to anticipate market shifts, technology disruptions, regulatory trends, and threat evolution across the cybersecurity ecosystem.
Competitive & Ecosystem Analysis
Build and maintain a deep understanding of competitor strategies, product roadmaps, GTM plays, and ecosystem moves (startups, hyperscalers, adjacent tech).
Formulate and drive internal and external strategic forums, including advisory boards, innovation councils, and think tanks.
Cross-Functional Strategy Development
Partner with executive leadership, Product, R&D, Marketing, and M&A teams to shape the strategic roadmap and prioritize high-impact bets.
Build and lead a high-performing team
Emerging Technology Evaluation
Analyze key trends such as AI/ML in cybersecurity, SASE, XDR, CNAPP, Zero Trust, and cloud-native architectures; identify risks and recommend responses.
Strategic Opportunity Assessment
Identify and validate new business opportunities, new product lines, adjacent markets, and inorganic growth (M&A, partnerships).
Executive Reporting & Influence.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with leading industry analysts, research firms, and academic experts.
External Thought Leadership
Represent our company in top-tier strategy forums, industry panels, analyst briefings, and innovation networks to influence and learn from the ecosystem.
Requirements: Experience & Expertise
10+ years in strategic planning, market research, corporate strategy, or product strategy in the cybersecurity industry-a must have.
Deep familiarity with global cybersecurity domains, including vendors, threat actors, regulatory pressures, and innovation cycles.
Proven experience influencing senior leadership with strategic insight and data-driven recommendations.
