Were looking for a seasoned BI Manager to join our Data department leadership team and build a best-in-class internal BI service function. This role is critical in shaping the future of our data infrastructure, reporting stack, and how we serve internal teams with insights.
Youll own both the BI frontend (Tableau, Looker, Quicksight) and backend (Athena, Glue, Airflow), leading the buildout of our Data Medallion Architecture and delivering scalable, trusted analytics products. Youll manage and mentor a growing team, define BI strategy, and work closely with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow the BI team within the Data Department, acting as a key member of the leadership group.
Build scalable data models and drive the implementation of a medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold layers).
Oversee the development of dashboards, reporting, anomaly detection, automations and self-service analytics experiences in Tableau and Looker.
Ensure high data quality and consistent definitions across reports and metrics.
Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into BI deliverables.
Own the BI project roadmap and backlog, prioritizing based on impact and strategic alignment.
Define and enforce standards for semantic layers, data modeling, visualization, and performance.
Foster a culture of documentation, testing, and governance across the BI function
Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure robust data pipelines, job orchestration (Airflow), and warehouse optimization (Athena/Glue).
Requirements: 7+ years of experience in BI roles, with 2+ years in a manager capacity.
Proven experience building or scaling BI teams and designing internal data service models.
Python, DBT & SQL wizard - you write clean, efficient code and can troubleshoot pipelines or logic on the fly.
Deep hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
Strong backend BI expertise: data modeling, ETL design, warehouse performance tuning.
Familiarity with modern data stack: Athena, Glue, Airflow (or equivalents).
Experience designing and implementing layered data architectures (e.g., medallion or similar).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Passion for data quality, performance, and user experience.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

Experience in high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity environments.
Hands on Research analyst experience
Prior exposure to AWS stack.
Experience implementing BI governance and access controls at scale.
