What Youll Do
* Define Embedded software architecture for new wireless communication devices (ARM Cortex-M, RTOS, ultra-low-power designs).
* Help create coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across the firmware domain.
* Write, review, and optimize C / C ++ code for Bluetooth Classic, BLE Mesh, and audio/ DSP pipelines.
* Mentor and coach engineers through design reviews, pair-programming, and knowledge-sharing workshops.
* Act as the go-to expert for root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and critical issue resolution.
* Work closely with Hardware, QA, Mobile App, Cloud, and Product teams to deliver seamless helmet-to-cloud experiences.
* Influence long-term technology roadmaps and evaluate emerging tools, compilers, and wireless stacks.
Requirements: Must-Haves B.Sc. in CS / CE / EE from a leading university 7+ years of Embedded C / C ++ development in shipping products Proven record as a technical lead / architect on complex firmware projects Deep knowledge of Real-Time systems, RTOS scheduling, interrupts, DMA, low-level drivers Strong grasp of wireless protocols; Bluetooth Classic & BLE a significant plus Excellent debugging skills and proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and static analysis tools Clear communicator with a mentoring mindset; fluent English
Nice-to-Haves M.Sc. or equivalent research background Experience with secure bootloaders, OTA updates Hands-on with audio codecs or DSP algorithms Familiarity with power-management techniques for battery devices Exposure to safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 62304) Scripting ( Python /Bash) for automation and TEST harnesses Hebrew, or additional language skills
