In your day-to-day you will collaborate with all teams in our R&D, and take part in analyzing challenges, bottlenecks and issues, designing, planning, driving key initiatives, building infrastructure and mentoring the teams.



Responsibilities

Design and maintain GitOps-based CI/CD workflows (ArgoCD, Helm, GitHub Actions)
Manage ephemeral environments for every PR or feature branch using K8s, Crossplane, and Terraform
Build and enforce secure deployment practices (e.g., MFA, role-based access, audit trails)
Improve and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, OpenTelemetry)
Implement deployment safety mechanisms: canary analysis, B/G deployments, rollback policies
Support performance, incident response, and SLO tracking across services
Collaborate with backend teams to define and automate FinOps-aware environments
Assist in managing Confluent Kafka, MongoDB Atlas, and cloud-native services (EKS, GCP, AWS)
Help build secure workflows across VPN, SSO (Google Workspace), secret scanning, and IaC

Own operational responsibility for the application and platform layers
Oversee and drive production operations end-to-end: deployments, maintenance, scaling, high availability and enhancements across AWS and GCP.
Operate Kubernetes in productions at scale across AWS EKS and GCP GKE
Manage all infrastructure as code
Participate in on-call, lead and participate in incident management: triage, mitigation, and clear stakeholder communication during live incidents.
Own deployment tooling, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across compute, networking, and data layers.
Contribute to cost visibility and FinOps practices across cloud providers.

As the Data Infrastructure Lead, you will own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of Skais core production data infrastructure (MySQL, SingleStore, Snowflake, Airflow, and Microservices).
In this role, you will balance in-house, open-source, and SaaS solutions to manage petabyte-scale data while ensuring system reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency. You will blend hands-on engineering, technical architecture, vendor management, and team mentorship. You will lead cross-functional delivery, drive operational excellence across a 24/7 production environment, and set engineering guardrails for cloud-based data systems across the company.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Architecture: Set engineering guardrails, lead architectural reviews, lead the pods daily, and balance design tradeoffs for cloud-based data systems across all business units.
Execution & Delivery: Own the pods Scrum processes (epics, stories, tracking), balance technical debt management with rapid feature delivery, and drive multi-project execution.
Hands-on Engineering & Escalations: Stay active in code and infrastructure, serving as the primary technical escalation point for complex, 24/7 production issues.
Ops, High Availability & Reliability: Oversee operational readiness, rotation schedules, high availability (HA), backup and recovery processes, and automation to maintain 24/7 production uptime.
Mentorship & Team Culture: Raise the technical bar, foster a culture of engineering excellence, mentor team members, and drive professional growth within the pod.
Stakeholder & Vendor Alignment: Act as a strategic partner to align roadmap planning, bridge technical execution with business goals, and serve as the main point of contact for data infrastructure vendors.

As our DevOps Engineer, you will own and optimize our cloud infrastructure, automation, and production reliability in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do ?Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, with exposure to GCP as an advantage. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and infrastructure changes; CircleCI experience is preferred. Leverage Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate scripting, infrastructure automation, CI/CD configuration, and operational troubleshooting. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), primarily Terraform and Terragrunt. Automate configuration management and system provisioning using Ansible. Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, and network issues to maintain high availability and reliability. Ensure infrastructure adheres to security best practices and organizational standards. Configure and maintain networking components, including proxies, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and cloud networking. Continuously evaluate and adopt technologies and practices that improve infrastructure reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
