Required Developer Advocate
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and the global developer community. Youll translate our technical work across all domains, repositories, security, release management, pipelines, distribution, metadata, AI/ML, and ecosystem integrations, into content, demos, talks, and conversations that developers trust. Youll also bring community insights back into our R&D and business teams to influence product direction.
As a Developer Advocate you will:
Represent us across developer, DevOps, security, and platform-engineering communities through conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and online conversations
Create high-quality technical content: deep-dive articles, demos, hands-on guides, screencasts, code samples, and social content
Build compelling demos and storytelling around our core domains: Artifactory, Xray, Curation, Distribution, Pipelines, Workers, Fly, AI/MCP, and ecosystem integrations like GitHub
Collaborate closely with R&D, Product, Security, Solutions Engineering, Architecture, and Customer Success to deeply understand new capabilities and provide practical feedback
Engage with open source and developer communities, finding new channels and conversations where we should have a voice
Partner with Marketing to strengthen messaging while preserving technical credibility
Monitor and report impact across community engagement, content performance, OSS participation, and broader DevRel KPIs.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be the backbone of our infrastructure, ensuring that our cloud environment is scalable, secure, and developer-friendly. You will:
Serve as a core contributor to our central AWS CDK (TypeScript) project, ensuring every cloud resource-from S3 buckets to complex networking rules-is defined as code.
Act as a consultant for R&D and platform teams, helping microservice owners deploy new services and spin up sandbox environments while maintaining security standards.
Take end-to-end ownership of high-impact infrastructure shifts, including playing a key role in the transition from ECS Fargate to EKS.
Manage the lifecycle and maintenance of critical infrastructure components, such as security/observability agents and hosted open-source solutions.
Collaborate with our Boston-based teams on shared global projects to ensure architectural alignment and cross-region infrastructure support.

Following a recent corporate transition, our infrastructure is moving into a highly regulated environment subject to strict, ongoing security compliance frameworks and external audits. You will lead the charge in designing, securing, and continuously adapting our infrastructure to meet these evolving enterprise and regulatory standards. Your immediate priority will be securing the environments where protected data is stored across public cloud infrastructure, on-premise virtual environments, and containerized clusters. * Infrastructure Hardening & Governance: Own, scale, and maintain automated machine image hardening pipelines utilizing industry-standard security baselines (such as CIS benchmarks). Extend these frameworks to define and enforce strict security baselines across container clusters and image registries.
* Secure Architecture & Networking: Architect secure hybrid environments handling sensitive data, focusing on robust network segmentation, zero-trust principles, and secure infrastructure-as-code deployment methodologies.
* Application Security Integration: Manage and optimize the integration of automated security scanning tools (SAST, SCA, and DAST) into CI/CD pipelines. Ensure reliable capture, aggregation, and reporting of scan results to satisfy product governance and audit requirements.
* Threat Detection & Observability: Implement and manage anomaly detection tools, automated access log review mechanisms, and comprehensive centralized auditing and logging solutions.
* Security Incident Response: Serve as the primary technical escalation point for infrastructure security incidents, creating automated playbooks for rapid triage and mitigation.
