* Build for builders: Design and develop the backend infrastructure that other teams will rely on from shared services and APIs to internal Developer tools and performance optimizations.
* Engineer at scale: Work across modern backend stacks, building reusable systems that balance flexibility with consistency.

Requirements: * 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
* At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js in a production environment.
* Proven experience designing or maintaining shared backend systems (e.g., internal tooling, platform-level services, microservices, or APIs).
* Strong understanding of application architecture, performance, and scalability in production.
* Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) including deploying, managing, and scaling backend services.
* Experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including designing schemas, optimizing queries, and ensuring data integrity.
* Experience working on internal platforms or infrastructure initiatives is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to lead projects, collaborate effectively across teams, and mentor other engineers.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and building for performance, reliability, and security.
* A passion for clean code, Developer experience, and helping teams move faster with better tools.
