The hardware development team spans two global sites - one in Tel Aviv and one in Copenhagen. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical excellence, and strong problem-solving skills to develop and optimize advanced mechanical systems and components.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, assemblies, and components from concept to production.
Perform thermal analysis and simulations to ensure optimal system performance under various environmental and operational conditions.
Apply knowledge of manufacturing techniques such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, software, and systems engineering teams to achieve integrated product designs.
Prepare detailed technical documentation, drawings, and design reports according to engineering standards.
Support prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical components and systems.
Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of thermal systems, heat transfer, and thermal simulations (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar tools).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and DFM/DFA principles.
Experience with materials selection, tolerance analysis, and mechanical testing.
Familiarity with fluid dynamics, vibration analysis, and mechanical reliability.
Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in electromechanical system design or precision mechanisms.
Understanding of control systems and integration of mechanical and electronic components.
Background in product lifecycle management (PLM) and configuration control.
