Required Director of Engineering
The person in this role will lead the R&D group that will be developing next generation solutions and will have end-to-end ownership and will be responsible for all aspects of development in the group, consisting of Backend, Frontend, Mobile and QA engineers from technologies to processes to people management.
Youll report to the VP R&D and be a part of the engineering management team, establishing the engineering vision, goals and culture.
What youll do:

Manage a growing group of ~30 strong team members, led by strong team leaders.
Lead the design, architecture, and the scaling up of our solution, as well as maintain an agile development process.

Take overall responsibility for recruiting and scaling the team to support its growth needs.
Develop, mentor and grow the group leadership.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in Software Engineering
2+ years of experience of leading team leaders and a cross-functional team of 30+ high performing engineers
Proficiency in Backend programming and Object Oriented Design
Team player, empathy, and someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
Experience deploying and maintaining a 24/7 production environment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills
Great collaboration and cross-functional organizational skills
Bonus points:
Strong background in Mobile development or Mobile team leadership.
