A technology company developing communication hardware for smart metering and IoT products is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join its R D development team.
The role combines hands-on RF engineering with technical ownership of the RF product lifecycle, from design and development through mass production and regulatory certification.

Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop RF systems operating at Sub-GHz and cellular frequencies
- Perform simulations and optimize RF circuits and antennas
- Conduct testing, integration, and troubleshooting of complex RF circuits
- Work closely with external PCB layout designers to support optimal RF routing
- Lead FCC and CE compliance activities, including preparation, laboratory accompaniment, and final product certification
- Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and system teams, as well as external vendors and subcontractors
- Provide Technical Support to field engineers and partners, primarily in the United States and other global locations, to resolve complex field issues
- Guide engineering technicians, share technical knowledge, and support the improvement of the teams professional standards
- Manage multiple technical tasks independently and help steer the technical direction of the RF domain
Requirements: - BSc in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
- At least 10 years of proven experience in RF development
- Proven experience in RF design at relevant frequencies, along with proficiency in RF simulation tools
- Hands-on experience using standard RF measurement equipment, including Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers
- Strong background in Ultra-Low Power RF design for battery-operated IoT and smart metering devices
- Hands-on experience with modern RF SoCs, transceivers, and cellular modules, as well as designing matching networks, power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, and filters
- Experience taking RF products from concept through mass production, including Design for Manufacturing and the definition of RF testing fixtures and procedures
- Previous experience leading FCC and CE compliance testing
- Experience in antenna design and characterization - significant advantage
