In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and performance of our products through comprehensive automated testing and taking full responsibility for regression cycles. You will work with a variety of operating systems and projects in complex environments


Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of robust automation infrastructure using Playwright.
Complex Configuration Management: Gain a deep understanding of complex customer configurations to tailor and optimize automated test environments.
Multi-OS Environment: Manage and execute tests across multiple operating systems, (including Linux, Windows, etc).
Continuously improve and enhance the quality process, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and test coverage.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Device Security QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling comprehensive quality assurance strategies for our cutting-edge security product for iOS and Android mobile devices. You will drive both automated and physical testing efforts to ensure our platform meets the highest standards of security, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities:
Performance & Usability Testing: Use relevant tools and frameworks to assess performance (e.g., loading times) and provide feedback on UI/UX issues for improved user experience.
Physical & Manual Testing: Conduct and oversee hands-on physical testing of mobile devices, ensuring that manual and automated tests accurately validate qualification features.
Test Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and tailored test scripts for Android and iOS systems and applications.
Automation Development: Design and implement scalable, automated testing frameworks to simulate real-world scenarios across diverse mobile devices. Create automated scripts for regression, smoke, and feature testing.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support rapid, reliable releases. Monitor builds, troubleshoot integration issues, and optimize test suites.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and improvement recommendations.

The engineer will own both manual and automated testing, work closely with software development teams, contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and help embed quality from day one.

Responsibilities:
- Own the quality and test automation strategy across QM's high-level software, including our SDKs, APIs, user-facing tools, and the services around them.
- Lead a team of QA and automation engineers - setting technical direction, mentoring, and growing the team's capabilities while staying hands-on.
- Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks and the test suites that run within our CI flows, validating functionality, performance, and stability.
- Define test plans, coverage goals, and quality gates in close partnership with R&D, architecture, and product teams.
- Partner with DevOps to integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipelines they own, ensuring quality gates are well-defined and effective.
- Own Tier 2 customer support for software issues - investigating escalations, reproducing and diagnosing problems, driving them to resolution, and feeding insights back into test coverage and product quality.
- Drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement of test reliability, flakiness, and release confidence.
- Establish metrics and reporting that give the organization clear, actionable visibility into product quality and release readiness.
