we are looking for an experienced Radio Frequency Planning Engineer to join its Radio Frequency Network Managed Systems Unit. This is a new role within a recent area of business expansion dedicated to the implementation of 4G Network.
The successful candidate will join a team of internal and external workers and will be responsible for overseeing the planning and design of wireless telecommunication networks, ensuring optimal coverage and capacity.
What you will do:
- Overseeing the planning and design of wireless telecommunications networks and ensuring optimal coverage and capacity
- Managing pre-deployment site analysis, radio network planning, interference analysis
- Interfacing with rollout teams and regulatory authorities
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in RF technologies and industry best practices
- Contribute to the development of RF design guidelines and standards
- Manage search area issuance, candidate assessment, candidate approval, and antenna selection
Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in RF design and optimization
- Excellent understanding of antenna theory (aperture, gain, beam width, dipole vs. isotropic) and antenna performance (return loss, VSWR, etc.)
- Understanding of system topology and air interface parameters of the main telecommunication technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, etc.)
- Local Security clearance and Hebrew is a must
- Excellent knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Access,..)
- Experience in Electromagnetic Field evaluation for sanitary perits obtainment is considered an advantage
- Good knowledge of radio equipment is considered an advantage
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Mentum or Planet is considered an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good performance under pressure
